The FPGEE syllabus covers various areas of pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice. The exam is divided into four major content areas:

  1. Basic Biomedical Sciences (approximately 20% of the exam):

    • Biochemistry
    • Physiology
    • Anatomy
    • Microbiology
    • Immunology
    • Pathophysiology
  2. Pharmaceutical Sciences (approximately 30% of the exam):

    • Medicinal chemistry
    • Pharmaceutics
    • Pharmacokinetics

    • Pharmacology
    • Biopharmaceutics
    • Pharmaceutical calculations
  3. Social, Behavioral, and Administrative Pharmacy Sciences (approximately 20% of the exam):
